About
Rebecca Higgins lives and writes in Toronto. Her debut collection of short stories, The Colours of Birds, was published by Tightrope Books in 2018. The title story first appeared in The Antigonish Review (2008), and her story “The White Stain” won second place in the Toronto Star Short Story contest in 2013. Thanks to the support of the Ontario Arts Council, Rebecca has finished her second collection, Something Is Better Than Nothing. Stories from the collection have found homes in long con magazine, The Temz Review and Every Day Fiction.
